Does K-Meleon (or Gecko for that matter) support the file upload form element?
They don't seem to appear.

Thanx

it seems to work for me in the 0.6 release; is that what you're using?

it doesn't work in 0.5...

Yes, I am using 0.6 Build 547.

Is there anything I could be doing wrong HTML code wise?
Below is my input tag:

<input class=in type=file name=image>

Works fine in IE and NS4+ of course.

i pasted the tag into an empty html body and opened it with kmeleon, and it seemed to render and function just fine... anyone else?

you didn't install 0.6 over an older version, did you? apparently that's a problem, sometimes... or maybe it's another case of an outdated common control library?

somebody will know.

Negative on either of those. Fresh install, and definitely not an old common control. I am runnin Win2k with sp2 and appupd.

I'll keep trying. Might see if NS 6 works fine.

Not much help maybe, but file uploading works fine on my system (Win2k / SP2 / K-Meleon 0.6).

Gotit!
It was a funny little bit of code beforehand (programmer brain freeze) which was confusing the renderer.

Sorry for the hassle, and thanx for your help smiling smiley
