problems with url masking

I have a site that uses URL masking to point to it's webpage.
When I go to the address in k-meleon I get a "404 not found" error. In IE it works fine. I have opened the 2 at the same time and definately works in IE and not k-meleon.
url is www.geoshell.co.uk.

Any Ideas ?

Win98SE and latest (I think) k-meleon release

David,

Do you have access to Mozilla 0.9.5? If so, does it give you the same problem? If not, don't worry - I'll test as soon as I can.

David,

I just tested that here on K-Meleon going to this site:

http://www.geoshell.co.uk/

and it loaded a page with this title:

"www.geoshell.co.uk -- backup site for news.geoshel"

Is that what I should be seeing?

Hi,

http://www.geoshell.co.uk/ is working fine for me too !
(page = Welcome to news.geOShell*com Ver 2.00)

In the source :
<title>www.geoshell.co.uk -- backup site for news.geoshel</title>

But maybe I'm redirected somewhere else, isn't it (URL masking ???) ?

(version 0 .6 build 547)

Yep, your'e seeing the right site.
I still can't get it to work though.
I'll try redownloading k-meleon etc and re-installing.
Are you using any kind of update from mozilla that I should try ?

Thanks for the help by the way.

David,

Just using straight K-Meleon.

You should have version 0.6. I would uninstall again and then check to make sure that everything was actually removed. If you use the loader, exit out all the way before uninstalling. I've found that can cause files to be left behind. Reinstall and try again.
