Kmeleon 0.6
At the end of the uninstall, the program name in the 'add/remove programs' list box remained. I got a system generated message box informing me that there was an error in the uninstall, and it asked if I wanted to remove the name from the list box. I clicked yes, and the uninstall then was complete.
I didn't have the symbiotic loader installed.
HP-2755, Win-Me, proxomitron installed and used with 0.6
I have only IE 5.5 (native version) on this system.
I had this problem also, but simple closing and reopening add/remove programs took care of the problem.

Was anything left behind after the uninstall? Everything is kept in "Program Files\K-Meleon" so if that is no longer there, the uninstall did remove everything.

I honestly don't remember if I right-click deleted a Kmeleon folder from 'C:\program files' or not. At the time, I was cleaning out a bunch of other folders, and most programs do leave something behind after the uninstall, I just don't remember.
