i have noticed that the status bar dissappears from windows that have been opened using the "open in new window/open in background" right click functions. from what i can tell, i think it does it every time. in the view>toolbars menu, it still has a check by "status bar." when i uncheck status bar and then recheck status bar, though, the status bar reappears.

This is a bug that some users have reported but doesn't happen consistently. We have it on our list. Thanks for the bug report.

The status bar reappears if you toggle Kiosk/Fullscreen
mode (F11) on and then off as well.
