Identify browser as ... is empty

Haven't touched this setting in preferences and noticed it's just an empty box, one of the options is default but this is NOT shown in the box unless I go and select it. Surely the default setting upon installation is default so why I am setting an empty recentagular box with no description in it? And what am I actually set as then?

....

going to www.privacy.net/analyze I get

Your Browser Type and Operating System:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011011

http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/docs/privacy.php
This is not one of the options listed above, not even the default one so what's going on?

actually, that IS the default one...

it's normal for the box to be empty when set to default; what it's actually setting is a string to OVERRIDE the default with, so empty means no override.
