Hi Guy's!
Two things I noticed, I don't know if they are bugs or not.
When I tried to goto a page that has a capital letter in the front of the file name - KM wouldn't find it. E.G. http*************Crest.html
When I changed the 'C' to 'c' - crest.html - it worked okay.
Second thing, when I tired to download a .bmp file from this site by clicking on the link, I ended up with an uninteresting page of blank spaces and gibberish - english language gibberish mind you.
I could and did download the same .bmp file with IE 5.5.
I hope this helps.

only IE will display bitmaps by default... somewhere in these forums there's a link to a plugin somebody wrote for NS to do the same... try a search, maybe.

Thanks, I may have a look for that plugin.
I wasn't actualy interested in seeing the image though, I was trying to download it.

oh... well in that case, doesn't the old right-click 'save link as...' do the trick?
sometimes k-meleon tries to open some rather unexpected things in the window...

About the Capital letter thing, are you sure that this is just km? most (I assume all) unix servers are case sensitive, as is the OS itself.

The only reason I picked this up was that I had been using IE in the past with no problems and couildn't understand why it should suddenly not be working.
So I almost immediately tried IE again with no problems.
Back to KM and no go - even after a reboot.

AND .....I was left clicking on a URL type link to download the file - which happens to be a bmp.
THer was no actual image displayed on the html web page.
