this is probably a known issue, maybe even expected behavior, and might qualify under the don't-piss-on-the-electric-fence heading, but it occured under normal use, so i'm gonna post it:
when k-meleon is running (but in my case minimized to an auto-hidden taskbar) and a user sends a command to open k-meleon with a different profile (in this case using a panel button shortcut set up to pass the profile command) k-meleon doesn't catch the "-P <profilename>" and tries to resolve it as a URL, returning an error message that makes sense to someone who knows what's going on, but is confusing to a naive user... perhaps this should result in the profile manger dialog being brought up instead?
