Google Bug

After many weeks of error free operation, K-Meleon developed a strange bug. Whenever I use the toolbar shortcut to search Google, any spaces get turned into %20 which generates a search string that Google cannot find/interpret. For example if I searched for K-Meleon Bugs, it would come out as K-Meleon%20Bugs.

What is going on?
