Copying from tables

When copying from tables, all the table content is considered one string, regardless of TD and TR tags. This results in cell and row boundaries being removed. Obviously, one ends up with load of unformatted obscure text. Replacing cell boundaries with a space and row boundaries with a line break would (at least in some way) fix this annoyance.

you could even point the 'view source with external command' to lynx or some little HTML2text utility, to make it easy. smiling smiley

This is a problem in Gecko.
See http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103522 and http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94176, but please don't add comments to the bugs unless they are really important (for example your offer to fix the bug ;-)
