Hello
I happen to have the same problem some times at home. This usually happens when the system is under load (or when I have many K-M windows open, which is quite the same due to my system specs). My gfx card is an ATI rage II, OS win98 (first edition).

I had a similar problem with IE and a Matrox card. It turned out my video driver s/w was out of date (despite the fact it was a new card and packaged CD) and I needed a download from the web.

This bug is a known Mozilla bug. Should have been fixed by a patch submitted in Mozilla on 2002-03-15. For more info, see the bug #83289 under Bugzilla at the address :

I'm running version 0.4 and it won't display thumbnails at all. Will it help if I upgrade to 0.6, or does it do the same thing?

Leo,
There have been a ton of bugs fixed since 0.4 so it's a good idea to upgrade for a lot of reasons. However, since 0.7 is right around the corner, you might just want to wait for that if you have been getting by with 0.4.

I have already upgraded, but I am still getting the same problem on some sites. If I try the same sites in Netscape they load fine.

Leo,
Can you list some sites for us to see the problem?

I've had the same problem today. The worst was Apple's Quicktime site, which was very hard to navigate round! I'm afraid I can't remember the address, but I was sent there from the Netscape plugin page.
Another thing I discovered (on the positive side) after visiting the plugin page, was that the Acrobat plugin works with K-Meleon! I don't know if the installer would place it in KM's plugin folder, as I had a problem with it (down to Quick time, which I had a number of problems with). I just copied nppdf32.dll from the Browser folder in Acrobat Reader's directory, to KM's plugin folder.

Oh dear.....I've got the thumbnails back again! It occurred to me to change prefences from "Accept site images" to "Accept all images". I don't know if this was the problems others had.....
Sorry!
