K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
I've noticed some odd behavior from time to time with K-meleon. Let's say I favorite a page. The page is added to the favorites menu. Now, sometimes if I close and then reopen the browser a very strange thing happens. If I select the favorite nothing happens. Nothing - no response whatsoever; as though the favorite were dead. If I, on the other hand, bookmark the site things work fine.
Why is this?
the saved favorite usually won't work until you re-open k-meleon after COMPLETELY shutting it down. 'Close' doesn't usually do this - you need to 'Exit'. then, the next time k-meleon starts, it refreshes the favorites.
...which means a 'refresh' option under the favorites menu might be nice.
My Favorites got dead after an emergency Windwoes reinstall, but came back to life after a reboot. Recently added favorites haven't been a problem, except that I usually check to make sure they are really there. Seems to miss once in a while.
