UTF-8 encoding

I'm buzy with a bookmark syncer (onjab.sourceforge.net) and i found out that k-meleon writes to the bookmark file that it is UTF-8 encoded but actually it isn't...

I have an ä in one of the names and it should be encoded as ä.

(i'm curious how this will display in the forum :-)

More info about utf-8 can be found here:

just for clarification, are you talking about the bookmarks plugin in the current developer build, or the obsolete one in 0.6? they're unrelated, AFAIK. smiling smiley

Rob,

Please post this issue to the developer's list for clarification. Mark just noted that he's ready to take on more coding for bookmarks so if this is an issue, maybe we can get it fixed in short order.

Unfortunatly it doesn't seem to work with k-meleon sad smiley

It does work with mozilla...
