My K-Meleon renders this page (http://www.nature.com/nsu/020429/020429-7.html) wrong... the text over rights part of the image... I tried the page with IE and it worked right... not sure why?

I see the same effect. Netscape 4.76, Off by One, and Act 10 all render the page correctly.

Assuming that the page is coded correctly, the problem is with our underlying Mozilla code.

Gentlemen, if you peek at the code then you see that table, in which the particular image is, is set to 120px width. However, the image itself is 180px wide. What other browsers do is that they override the 120px table width in order to hold the pic. Mozilla (and KM respectively), however, honours the table width and keeps it the way it should be.

It's coding error (would YOU try to put big box inside smaller one? I wouldn't), our little browser can't be blamed here.

Sven,

Thanks for noting that. I ran it through the W3C HTML Validator and that page has ALL kinds of problems.
