If you move your mouse over the buttons in the toolbar, the image reference (like tool3.bmp[3]) shows up rather than the function name ("Home"). I've had this problem with both 0.65a and the version I built from scratch.
The toolbar config has changed, check the posting on the developer's list concerning this.
