Why does K-Meleon not support HTML 4.01 standard
valign="middle"
and
valign="bottom" ?

"top" is interpreted correctly.
If I use "center" instead of "middle" (which is not HTML conform), it somehow works.

Why is that? Oh btw, this applies to CSS vertical-align, too.

Another browser specific problem is with frame and frametag tags, if I want borderless frames that are directly attached to each other, I must use
frameset border=0 frameborder=0 framespacing=0
which is not w3c conform for HTML.
it should be:
frame src=.. border=0 frameborder=0
but that is not interpreted either..

Would be nice if you at least fixed that valign problem soon...

What exactly were you trying to align? Block level elements? Inline elements? What doctype you were using - did KM use quirks mode or strict mode for your page?

The Problem with my own page can'T be reproduced by now because I reworked it a few times since I noticed.. but it was with tables, too, like that forum there.

that's a pretty good example of it, look at the first reply from "blacksheep", his sig start with ________ like usual, but should be at the bottom of the text field close to the buttons below.
As you can see, the td tag holding the text is correctly assigned to top, but the sig is not. Same problem is with valign=middle.
