I have the beta version 0.65. I followed all points indicated in the page: http://tln.lib.mi.us/~amutch/pro/kmeleon/khistfiles.htm
but that's no working. Restarting KMeleon, but the line:
user_pref("browser.visited_color", "#FF0000");
is always cleaned from the file "pefs.js" !!
It was working before with the version 0.6
the visited links stuff doesn't work with the last few developer's builds, unfortunately. i believe there's some possibility of it being integrated by default eventually, though. this has been discussed on the dev list, which you should probably skim through the archives of if you're using the beta:
