K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
Hello everybody,
i have want to use k-meleon but no any of the downloaded version does work,
is it posibel to make ik work on windows 98 because i have troubles with xp for the moment (i am on a 400 hertz so i préfere to stay on 98)

are you sure you are getting the whole download? sometimes the server is a little unreliable... what is the size of the intsaller when you download it?
or, is the installer working, but k-meleon fails to run properly?
'doesn't work' isn't very specific...
I have to agree with Po; the details of the exact prolem which is occurring under Windows98, and even XP would help. Is it a crash? Missing component (*.dll perhaps)? Corrupted installer like Po has suggested.
yep it haves some problem to install (at the end they say a little message )so i suppose you are right,but then where can i get k-meleon ?? on witch site because i tried to download in some other places.

I just downloaded the new beta and get the msg: app K-M can't be started MSVCRTD.dll missing.
I have XP Home and indeed this fdll file isn't on my machine.
Where can I get it?

Looks like Jeff didn't remove the debug mode from the latest beta build. The file you need is here:

Actually, thanks to Andreas, who posted it to the dev-list mere moments after Jeff announced the build.
