When switching from print preview to normal mode K-M still crashes.

If the dump info from the crash is needed, I can post it.

This is fixed with the new EXE posted on the developers list.

I suppose this is the new k-meleon.exe.
I still have the crash.
But now I get also a download window to save printprogress.xul or something like this.
Also the fonts of the site to print go to a ten fold and don't return to normal size.

Yup, we're still seeing this. We are checking it out.

Oh. I was going to report this... no need. FYI though, my printpreview worked prefect the first time of asking with the new 6.5 beta, but every time since reproduces this error every time.

Thanks. That's exactly the behavior others are seeing. Can you try testing it on different pages. For example:

* plain HTML

* HTML with CSS

* PHP

* ASP

I just want to see if it is happening on all pages or choking on certain kinds.

I was testing the 'view source code' bug at first, and see that is fixed

So I then done a print preview on http://www.google.co.uk/ and it all worked great! So I had a thought (dangorous!) and wondered if the same bug was prevalent in that... so I print previewed again on the SAME page, and I got that crash above. It hasn't worked since, producing the crash each time

Ignore colours, reduced to 16 for file size. After this stage, close all windows an KM will crash with exception fault (as you know, no doubt).

Ohhh terrible me

I have found a way out of it without the crash (but still lose the page)! Am I a developer! heh.

Seriously, being an IT Network Admin/come helpdesk/come do everything, I have seen a very similar problem with something before... but alas, I can't remember what or why or how? (too many beers or hours? both are about the same )

OK, do a print preview on a page.. get the 'save as' dialogue up (as per my screen dump up there). At this stage, start another KM session.

Heh, Bugger me if I just done that and print printpreview worked again on new session!

OK, so if you do a print preview and get this 'save as' problem, start another KM session. Then kill the old one. It all works again until the same problem?

It seems that empty window has a foot in the plot?

OK, I can replicate this everytime.

Start KM 'fresh'. Do a printpreview until the 'save as' (you will have 3 windows here). Start another KM session, and then close the previous 3.

No crash, and print preview works perfect every page until you close it and go thru' the cycle again.

Thanks. Of course, I can't duplicate this problem now no matter how hard I try. This might be a little tricky tracking down.

The first time I do a print preview it displays ok.
When I go out of print preview, I get the original image back.

When I do directly a second print preview, I get a blank screen , a pop-up to save a XUL file and when going out of print view I see the original page, but with huge characters.
After that I get the crash.
