Can you provide more details? What operating system you are using?

Thanks. I don't see any relevance to details, but here they are:

System etc. seems irrelevant, but win2k with SP3, dell P4/1.4, runs any and every other program I'm interested in throwing at it. Uninstalled 0.6 [and wiped profiles] before install. Uninstalled and reinstalled 0.7 twice, problems persist. Mozilla 1.1 runs like a charm [such as it is]. [I don't screw around with their alphas and betas.]

Plugins enabled seems irrelevant, since now the program won't start telling me 'could not create browser frame'. Perhaps you could explain why you would generate that error message? FWIW, here is the plugins list from prefs.js:

user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.bmpmenu.load", false);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.bookmarks.bookmarkFile",
"C:\\Network\\Netscape\\bookmark.htm");
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.bookmarks.load", true);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.bookmarks.maxMenuLength", 999);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.bookmarks.maxToolbarSize", 20);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.bookmarks.menuAutoDetect", false);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.bookmarks.toolbarEnabled", true);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.external.load", true);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.favorites.load", false);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.fullscreen.load", true);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.history.load", true);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.hotlist.load", true);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.layers.load", true);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.layers.rebar", true);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.macros.load", true);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.rebarmenu.load", true);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.toolbars.load", true);

Hope this helps. I really am not inclined to throw any more time/effort at it, but will try to check back here once or twice more. Thanks again.

The details mattered because we have known issues with people running Windows95 and those who have stripped IE off their machines.

Are you still getting the error message? It was unclear to me from your last post.

Yes, still will not open with the 'could not create browser frame' error. Again, perhaps you could explain why you would generate that error message?

Well, *my* details did not matter then. Though I have not stripped IE, I did ditch 95 at the first opportunity, over 4 years ago...

Thanks.

Yes, still will not open with the 'could not create browser frame' error. Again, perhaps you could explain why you would generate that error message? This did go away for a short time then I had the problems I detailed in my other thread, but the will-not-open has returned.
