When I type "www.freesurf.fr" and press enter, the browser just crashes.

It occurs frequently, but not always. Sometimes I surf without problem.

System: windows98se.
K-meleon 0.7 buid 700.
plugin "layers" activated, with "catch" function.

OK. I just opened, surfed within and closed that site three times without a problem. So maybe it's your PC. Does the site normally use java? I have java disabled. Sometimes java causes a crash when system resources are low or alot of memory is used...in my experience anyway. Using Win98se here w/layers "catch" function.

Doesn't seem to be much if any java, but it is slightly heavy to load. One modest flash banner. Tables for miles, javascript galore, and it refreshes constantly - drives me nuts but doesn't bother my software. I'd guess it's a system quirk. Not saying mine wouldn't go down some other time. Depends on what has been going on and what else is still running.
Wow, it's 51KB, that's a lot of code to swallow.
