K-Meleon version 0.7 run on Win98 SE

After I load the loader.exe, instead of opening the main application from the loader, I double click on k-meleon.exe to open it, and when I close it, I got the error message from Windows saying K-Meleon has performed an illegal operation.

I know this isn't the standard way of doing things, but I was doing it in a script in Litestep to achieve a great effect. Is it a bug that if you have loader.exe loaded you can no longer open KM directly from k-meleon.exe, but only through the loader?.....or maybe it's just my computer...

I do the same thing and haven't had the errors that you reported. But Loader has been problematic in Windows98. If you haven't filed a bug report here:
