Yahoo! Email Auto Login Using K-Meleon

Ok. I am using K-Meleon as my default browser for the first time. I Have SBCYahoo! as my server and I use Yahoo! for my email. When I used SBCYahoo! as my browser I could simply "click" on the Mail icon and the SBCYahoo! browser would automatically log into and open into my email page.
With K-Meleon, though, I "right clicked" on the email icon to configure my Yahoo! email URL page and pasted that URL into the K-Meleon configuration box, and "clicked" OK and the box closed automatically as intended. Then, I "left clicked" the email icon in the K-Meleon browser again, and Yahoo! email came up, but it wasn't MY email page. Instead, it was the Yahoo! email "login" and "password" page.
Question: Does anyone know how to get the K-Meleon browser email to go directly to my Yahoo! email page automatically so that I don't have to type in my email address and password each time I want to check my email?
Thank you!

I found the solution to my own problem with automatic login using the K-Meleon browser and my SBCYahoo! email account:
Solution: Instead of writing my Yahoo! email page URL address into the K-Meleon dilogue box (found after "right clicking" on the email icon) "configure mail" I had to type in the following URL address: http://dsl.sbc.yahoo.com/ and then I also had to set my computer to "Remember my password on this computer."
This information is specifically for those of you who are using WindowsXP and who are also using DSL and who are also using SBC as your server... hence, the URL address shown: http://dsl.sbc.yahoo.com/

Is there a way to directly login to a Yahoo email account without always typing in my password for a system that uses:
1. dial-up connection;
2. Windows ME and
3. K-Meleon 0.8.2+ Wechselbalg?

Thanks.

That's a Yahoo annoyance but you can get around that by using a bookmarklet. Go to:

http://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/forms.html

Right-click remember passwords and choose 'Bookmark This Link' (assuming you use bookmarks). Then sign out of Yahoo and go to:

http://mail.yahoo.com

Before you sign in, click on your remember passwords bookmark that you just saved. It'll appear as javasciptsad smileyfunction.... After the prompt, sign in and you should be prompted to save the password. You should also follow the same steps for the page, login.yahoo.com.

If you enter this:

http://login.yahoo.com/config/login?.done=http%3A//mail.yahoo.com&login=XXXXX&passwd=ZZZZZ

as the path of your email client, with XXXXX being your username and ZZZZZ being your password, when you click on your mail button, you'll go directly to your Yahoo mail account.

Now, if someone knows how to set K-Meleon up to use Yahoo mail for mailto links and send page as link from within the browser, I'd be very happy.

Just set Yahoo as your default mail client. Right-click the following link and choose 'View In IE'

Actually, I was hoping to get it to open a K-Meleon window instead of bringing up IE, but this will do.

Thank you.
