it happens to all the pictures that are visible for one day as teaser for non-members.

at the top of the list is a big thumbnail of a folio where some pictures are viewable for today. this thumbnail is also affected. sometimes some of the selected visible thumbnails are not displayed. the same is with the opening large versions, they will just not display sometimes. but the visibillity is individual for each picture itself. as an example for today http://www.ishotmyself.com/public/view_gallery.php?g=rocknroll the large version of #16 is not displayed, but the large pic of #31 is, if you switch to it from largeview.

For me, pictures were displayed correctly last time and they're correctly displayed this time. It's for sure no K-Meleon bug. It's either a problem with your connection (low bandwidth or high server load) or the website was simply not completely updated when you visitid it (temporarily broken links).

of course before foremost posting this, i tried it with reloading the page and checked the issue in different browsers and another computer. no problem in other browsers, but SAME pictures affected in k-melon on that other computer. so i was sure it must be k-melon. now tried it on an third machine and, voila, it worked.

i also checked the code of the page: nothing is missing. but it is very strange and i'd like to know the reason for it. myabe it is like a similar issue i have seen on other computers (and could only fix it by re-installing the system). most of the tiny webgraphics that are used for the menues or the design of a page were not displayed. but it was browser _independent_. i somehow suspect norton for it, but of course removing it did not help, and these computers with the k-meleon issue have not seen anny norton.

My problem is a little different. Only in 1 forum (Meristation) I can´t display any image that is enclosed between the tags img
