K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
I am finding that recently K-meleon is freezing when a layer (tab) is closed, for some time, which is very annoying. The K-meleon during that time displays like multiple windows in the task bar. This I have never noticed with any of the other browsers I have used. Is this a bug or is this normal.
I believe my K-Meleon is behaving the same way. Here is the situation: When I close a layer, the browser freezes for about 1 second, then resumes normal operation. This also happens when I close another open window. I found the same conditions w/ 1.02 and 1.1.2.
I do have settings to clear history and cookies, etc., when I close K-Meleon. I was wondering if this was the possible reason for the freeze / pause / delay - what ever it should be called.
I use Pocket K-Meleon (Douglas' prior version and now Alain's version). So, I'm also wondering if the USB possibly has anything to do with my situation.
