This is fixed.
Problem was probably was due to Java ssettings, but changing the selections did not make any immediate difference. Now it is fixed,
There should be an an alert.

When aske to enter graphic characters to prove I am human, I see no characers and no box.
IE and Firefox work fine.
I am using a Dell 1701 and Vista.

This occurs you only in a determinated web, yes?
What is it this web page?
Try to change Agent User string to Firefox: Tools -> User Agent -> Firefox 2.0
and reload the web page.

You can talk about issues with k-meleon here. Issues means: bugs, malfunction, crashes, etc. Remember that issues with web rendering is beyond the scope of what K-meleon is, a shell for an engine.
