I am k-meleon fan in China.
when writing on baidu space(a famous blog website in China) by a chinese input method, a prompt jump problem occurs.
The k-meleon version is 1.5 and a pictured was captured as below:

I have tried other chinese input methods and they made no difference. But it's ok on IE.

By the way, what's the matter with "Insert URL" of forum's text edit box?
It keeps Popping up a illegal link dialog box after a click.

Good to hear from China. I am just a user, not a developer, but I will try to help. Can you explain more what is " a chinese input method"? Does it involve more than one keypress for a character?

You can disable search in web page when you type in menu:
Edit -> Page Search -> Find As You Type

A chinese input method editor is designed to allow the input of chinese charaters using standard keybord. They could be classified in three main types:
by encoding
by pronunciation
by structure of the characters.
Take pronunciation for example: if i want to input the words “加油”, which mean cheer up, fighting in English, i need six keypresses "JIA YOU" and a blankspace to enter. "JIA YOU" is the pronunciation of "加油“ in chinese.

Chinesse is a very complicated language.
