Hi, I have an odd issue with using K-Meleon 1.5 on the website www.stickam.com, I can't backspace *anywhere* on the site, just by hitting 'backspace', I have to press 'shift' & 'backspace' together to delete typos, etc, if I use Seamonkey there is no problem, but I like KM better (faster!). is there a problem with KM & Adobe Flash? I've tried to figure it out, but I can't. there was no problem like this is in the earlier release of KM before 1.5 came out. Any help greatly appreciated.

I tried with posing as Firefox on their loggin/enty page - Backsspace seems to work.
Try that inside the page.

I set User Agent to: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.1.16) Gecko/20080702 Firefox/2.0.0.16

Nope, uninstalled with Revo Uninstaller, Re-booted, then reinstalled 1.5 Still when in a stickam.com chat room, the backspace button will not work without pressing shift also. I uninstalled and installed ver. 1.1.6 and the problem went away now. I liked the bookmarks bar better on 1.1.6 anyway, but I'd rather have the better security using 1.5 (Mozilla/FF update, etc)

Anyway know what could be causing this?

Try and create a new Profile.
Deinstalling does not alter default Profile.
So if the problem was there in the profile it stays.

BTW. 1.1.6 and 1.5 are updated to the same GRE = rv:1.8.1.17pre) Gecko/20080716.
1.5 has newer & more efficient K-Meleon code.

as someone suggested, but I could not figure out how to do it, the text 'accel.cfg' was no in the notepad that opened up when I went to : edit>configuration>Accelerators

could someone help with the step by step instructions? What I ended up doing is VK_BACK = ID_NAV_BACK as the bottom line in edit>configuration>Accelerators and saved, restarted KM, and the problem still exists, plus I tried adding a # before VK_BACK = ID_NAV_BACK and that didn't work either. I this is a BUG plain and simple (I think), I mean maybe Stickam.com just hates KM 1.5 lol ??

Are you sure that you are using K-Meleon 1.5 and not 1.1.5?
Have someone more this problem?

Yes, it's 1.5.0 to be exact.

Is a login required before you have the backspace problem? I went on the main page and also the FAQ and did not have backspace problem in login area or search on FAQ. I am using KM 1.5.0

it happends no matter how you get in the rooms, and in my case I'm always logged in when this happends. in 1.5
