I've observed the same in all 1.5.x releases. Couldn't really figure out what's causing it. I suspect it's related to the profile location.

Where do you store your profile? Under %AppData% or in the km installation directory?

What Windows version are you using?

I have my profile in the KM installation directory and I do not lose information in the title bar. I am using KM 1.5.2 RC2 on XP-SP3.

I saw it with kplugin not adapted to 1.5 (tabs).

Try to disable the kplugins one by one to find it.

An old spelltest, searchbar version...

A-ha! Got it!
It was a fault of searchbar plug-in smiling smiley

There's another question - how can i access different search engines in address bar?
I.e., in Opera it's very handy tool - I type "g garmin" - and it searches Google for Garmin; "p str_replace" - finds function in php.net manual site.

You can change your url address search engine with right click in Search button on toolbar. To define Search engines go to Edit -> Preferences (F2) -> Finding Websites -> and setting tabs ; URL Bar, Web Search, Search Engines, ...
