hi everyone. some sites works only with "www" in web adress...
in my browser i set to default action Keyword autosearch "Google - browse by name"
first time when i type "gigabyte" i go to http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/ and so must be
second time when y type gigaby... autocomplete make address to http://gigabyte.com.tw/ and this is not working: "Address Not Found" this happens with both options: "domain autocompletion" and with "Keyword autosearch"
i thing this is not browser bug, but can this improved? and if adress is not found why autosearch is not working?
sorry for my poor english

I tried your method gigabyte and then gigaby. I got nothing on second try. I looked and I did not have a check mark by keyword autosearch. This was with KM 1.5.2 RC2. I then put the check mark by keyword autosearch, re-ran the gigaby, and I got a Google page looking for gigaby.

Yes it's, autocompletion in URL bar only work with URLs that were loaded completed.
This are showed in URL bar history like www. or .com URLs.
If you typed "gigabyte" isn't autocompleted in next type, but if you typed "gigabyte.com" (for example) this is autocompleted in next type.

Like you do a search in Google when you type "gigabyte" thi isn't autocompleted because Google URL isn't similar to www. "gigabyte" .com instead is www . google . com/search?hl=en&q=gigabyte ...

This work identical in Firefox 2.0.0.20

i have tick before "find fitting pages in global history as you type" and tick before "autocomplete when you type"
then write in adress bar: gigabyte.com.tw and see what happens - same as clicking on this link: http://gigabyte.com.tw

Opera,Iron & Lunascape5 while using the Gecko engine open MRU history to find after typing G. This might be what Professor means.

Any chance to get that going?

@Professor - desgas2 who know more than I seems to think it is from GRE.
& I am not sure whether I understood You.
