For some users it might be of interest to replace the Mozilla DefaultPlugin by a better one, the so called 'DefaultPluginPro':
1) Go the side
http://entropymine.com/jason/defaultpluginpro/
2) Download defpluginpro-1.0.0.zip (version 1.0.0; 70KB; 29 Jun 2002).
3) Extract the file npdefpluginpro.dll from the zip and copy it into your
k-meleon folder */k-meleon/plugins/ (not kplugins !!).
4) Should you find in this folder the original DefaultPlugin npnul32.dll,
then move it into another place or rename it to npnul32.dll.off.
5) Documentation can be found in the readme.txt file enclosed.
6) Type about:plugins in your K-Meleon browser command line. If the
DefaultPluginPro is installed correctly, you schold find an entry which shows
you that ius has been activated.
The advantage is, if a flash doesn't work, then you can use the right
mouse button over the flash animation to open a window for more informations.
Works well, I have tested it. On my system, which has Windows 98 (not SE) the flash player version 10 does not run, but version 9 works fine. If I use 10
for test purposes, the DefaultPluginPro gives more informations of the flash, that
is used on the web site.
Sorry, if my English is not well, I am a German.
