this isn't really a bug, well it is.. but, it's been happening for years and nobody cares about fixing it or addresing it properly, i don't know why.. anyway, it's not k-meleon's fault but gecko in general. sometimes text overlapping happens with unicode rendering.. if the site was using cyrillic instead of unicode, the overlapping wouldn't occur.. different engines may overlap unicode not just gecko.
here's firefox overlapping unicode:
it doesn't just happen with russian(or any cyrillic-based text) but any text rendered as unicode..greek, armenian, japanese etc or even regular latin text if rendered as unicode on sites with mixed languages... to restore proper rendering.. you may maximise and restore back the browser window..sometimes that fixes it instead of refreshing.. webkit browsers suffer worse with unicode rendering.not just overlapping text but sometimes rearranging them in an unreadable manner..it's very bad, they have somewhat fixed it with latest webkit versions but it's still not as good at rendering as in gecko, presto or trident.
