K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
I just discovered k-meleon and could possibly use it as my default browser. One thing that bugs me is when I add bookmarks to my Personal Toolbar Folder, only certain websites actually show an icon next to the text for the website. Several others seem to just display the default 'blank page with an orange favorite star' in front of it.
It's not that big of a deal, but I'd really like to know how to get all my bookmarks to show my icon, so that I don't need text for any of them. Thanks in advance.
Menu: Edit -> Browser Configuration > browser.chrome.favicons (check that it is true).
Some sites like Yahoo do not show correct favicons due to the structure of their code and site layout. BBC favicons change because they have more than one icon associated to their URL. This is not a K-Meleon bug but they are site specific glitches. K-Meleon devs and community have no influence how e.g. yahoo stores favicons or missdetects browsers...
