Hello

I would love to have the possibility to fix the size of new windows in the
preferences. Hence, every time I would hit CTRL+N, all my windows would
have the same size and not the size of the latest window opened by a
website I visited.

Of course, in a perfect world, this feature would work only with windows
opened by the user (so as to allow websites to open windows the with size
they want it to be) and could be activated or not on a per user basis.

Anyway, K-Meleon is a great great tool and I'm glad to be able to use
it on a daily basis. Thanks to everyone who made this possible.

I agree . . . it's a bummer when a site opens a small pop-up window and from then on all the new windows are tiny.

i think it would be possible to set up a macro to quickly set the window size (but unfortunately not the position) back to some fixed dimension, ie:

windowsize {
menu = Window Reset
setpref(INT, kmeleon.display.width, 800)
setpref(INT, kmeleon.display.height, 600)
}
or some such, as a temporary sanity preserving measure in the meantime, for whatever that's worth... note that i haven't yet tried it, though.
