KM does't remember position on a page

If I read a big size page and scroll it somwhere down and quit KM, then when I start KM again the page position is not in last position it was, but in the beginning. The same is with load/save sessions.
It does't remember page position.
Could it be fixed somehow?

It's not a bug because as far as I know it's not a feature
Not all browsers have all features of all other browsers ,-)
Hmm... then again... sometimes I think KM does remember the position, not sure now when exactly...

Scroll Restore
secure sites are normally not cached and due to that when you restore a session with secure sites the last scroll position is not remembered. scroll restore enables K-Meleon to remember the scroll position for non-cached secure pages.

Maybe that applies to non-ssl sites too, if they're not cached? - because of ... well, I don't know ... cache too small? Or disabled?

If you try, please post results here!

I have installed it, but this extention does't work at all - it does't remember positions on https and http sites.

- well, I downloaded it from the link I gave you, and found out it's .kmm is missing. I'm afraid it cant work that way. Will post in the "Extensions" forum.

On another note: give us your cache settings, please - F2 -> Network/Performance -> Cache. And tell us how much RAM your machine has.

btw, I found this thread about the problem.

EDIT: forget about all that. I re-read your first -

"and quit KM, then when I start KM again the page position is not in last position it was, but in the beginning."

Well, quit, restart, and have remembered? Which browser does that? All my advice was for moving forward(back in a tab's history, sorry.

Opera and FireFox does it.

Example:

KM:

Current position:

Position after restart:

(It's now in the beginning)

Opera:

Current position:

Position after restart:

(It's the same as in last session)
