We should improve both the Rebar Menu Plugin and the Netscape Bookmark Plugin so that Rebar Menu doesn't crash when the size of the Netscape Bookmark Files exceeds a certain amount Kilobytes or Megabytes. When the bookmark file exceeds this size the Rebar Menu can not be displayed until you copy a smaller bookmark file into the profile or manually edit the preferences to point to a smaller bookmark file.
The problem could be with Netscape Bookmark Plugin, Rebar Menu Plugin, or a combination of both.
Which one of the plugins that cause the problem/bug should be looked into.
Replacing the Rebar Menu Plugin with a toolbar would solve the problem because the toolbars do not disappear when the bookmark file exceeds the certain size the toolbars do not disappear. Also, using a macro for the menu options would reduce the stain on the browser becuase some macros use less resources than some plugins.
Replacing the bookmark plugin with a macro could solve the problem because a macro would not have a limitation on the size of the bookmark file that the Netscape Bookmark Plugin. Also, the bookmark functions such as adding or editing bookmark would not have not have bookmark file size problem.
Other browsers do not have a Netscape Bookmark Plugin so they do not have a limit on the size such as K-Meleon does. A macro would not have a limit on the Bookmark File Size, could be updated more easily, and would use less resources than the Netscape Bookmark Plugin.
