hello there
the adress bar inherits the background from the OS color sheme, but not the font color. (in my system listboxes have white fonts on dark blue, the k-meleon adress bar is black on dark blue = unreadable). text selection is red, both in k-meleon and system - that's fine.
(also the privacy bar does not inherit the lightblue 3d-element color, but uses black in stead)
i hope this is tweakable, but it should not be nescessary to tweak this.
i would appreciate tips, though.

(i did a search and found so much topics about tweaking other colors, so i gave up an just posted ....)
As far as the URL bar is concerned, that's a known bug.
For the privacy bar, you could try to make a text based toolbar out of it. Open Edit > Configuration > Toolbars and remove the image references from the privacy toolbar (you have to restart km to make changes take effect).
Use this forum to talk about a feature you're missing.
