Would it be possible to add a shortcut on my destop, from a certain web-page (like in I.E) ?

Did you try dragging and dropping the url address or a web page link to the desktop? I find that both of these methods work on my PC using Windows XP.

Yes I did but curiously, using Windows_XP like you, it doesn't work.It's a pity.
The only way it works is:
- Left click and copy the URL (but left or right click on the desktop ---> there's no possibility to paste !!!)
- Left click on the desktop -->New-->Shortcut and there I enter the copied URL above.
