Can you explain more? Have you hidden the window title bar, are in full screen mode, or do you mean to minimize single tabs only, or...?

Hi, marcus,

try PowerMenu?
this great little program gives you the following additional items in the SystemMenu (clicking the WindowIcon in the title bar or rightclicking the titlebar anywhere else) for ALL windows.

Minimize To Tray
Remove the window from the task-list and places the window's on the system tray.

Always On Top
Makes the window sit on top of other windows even if it doesn't have focus.

Priority
Changes the priority of the window's parent process

Transparency
Changes the transparency level of the window (Windows 2K/XP only)

If you have problems with autostart & the command line options, it's best to ask a friend first, with both of you sitting in front of your display.

PowerMenu can be found here

Cheers
SoerenB

The free version of 4t Tray Minimizer gives you the ability to just right-click any windows minimize button to send it to the tray. No additional buttons or context menu needed. It also offers other features: additional title bar buttons, windows context menu additions, shortcut keys, transparency, rollup etc... All customizable.

You can use K-Meleon's Loader for this purpose. As long as the loader is running, you will have an icon in the tray that will open the browser when clicked. By default, the loader is set to preload the browser to accelerate it's startup. When you change the preload level to "None", the loader won't preload anything but will still open the browser when you click the tray icon.

To nie do końca to czego oczekujesz, ale zawsze to jakieś rozwiązanie bez konieczności używania innych programów.

It was unexpected but it is what was asked for - a native solution to put the icon to the tray grinning smiley

Great find alba

Well yes, but guess "minimizing to tray" mostly means that people don't want to really close something, just minimize it without having that big tab in the taskbar taking too much space away. If it were only for starting, the normal icon could just as well be used from the quickstart icons smiling smiley
