Open bookmark in a new tab ??

Hello Folks.
One thing I am really missing in using this browser daily is the ability to open a site from a bookmark in a new tab.

Since my browsing style has me going back and forth between tabs, this ability is very important for getting new information while keeping the rest of the tabs open as they are.

Is there any way to get the bookmarks menu to work with right-clicks so that this may appear somehow ??

Thanks.

Using either F2 or EDIT > PREFERENCES and go to BROWSING > GENERAL. In there is a selection box named "Open". Click on the selection area and change the value to "Netscape Bookmarks". Then just below the selection area are choices for how you with the bookmark to open.

If bookmarks are done the same as favorites, then right click does the same as a left click. I don't use bookmarks, so I am not sure about this.

Right click it.

If instead left click, you right click, it will open in a new tab/window.

If I'm not wrong (or at least I discovered then), it can be done since K-meleon 74 or 75 and up.

Yes, it works so from even 1.x-branches.

Thanks for the replies Folks.
I am trying to make this work in K-Meleon 75.1 Pro, and it is not working as it should.

In my other versions here it does, yes:

But not in this one.

Yes - this is exactly what I am hoping it would do:

Right-click has zero effect.

Yes - in 'General' I find 'Open Netscape Bookmarks' with these choices:
In the current tab
In a new tab
In background

But still no effect.

Also I find settings for the Netscape Bookmarks Plugin...
Enable support for Netscape Bookmarks is checked, and it is set thusly:

Open Netscape Bookmarks Using The Left Mouse Button
In the current tab

Open Netscape Bookmarks Using The Right Mouse Button
In a new tab In background

But also to no effect - it is very mysterious !?!

when you've run KM Pro for the 1st time - it asked you 2 questions about new finded plugins. Have youy answered 'yes' 2 times?

If suddenly not - then press F2 and look under K-Meleon plugins what plugins are off.

You should have only 3 off by default: IE Favs, Mouse Gestures and Opera Hotlist.

Have double-checked and these are all correct too.

try to create new profile (Edit - Manage Profiles) and check there.

If it wouldn't work - then you probably has some problem with downloaded file.
Try this one - russian KM 75.10 Pro and just switch it to your preferred lang.
