It'd be nice to have a lighter alternative to the MSIE OCX for the Visual Basic/other MS product developers out there. Something with an HTML view... doesn't need favorites and all that bullshit, just a way to parse HTML and navigate. I think that's what everyone is looking for when they include the oversized MSIE crap in their projects.
Of course, since MSIE is integrated with the platform, I guess in the end it doesn't make a difference. But it'd still be nice to have!

BTW you can really tell the effect of the /. on this site.

there are a group of people developing just such a thing. download mozilla and you will find a file called mozctl.dll in the bin directory. you can load it into VB or VC++. it's not perfect, but it works... sortof.

I linked to this DLL in my project but where can I find documentation on how to use it?

http://www.microsoft.com. It works *exactly* the same as the M$IE OCX, to the point that you can actually hex edit a program that uses the M$IE control and make it use the Moz control.
