Is there anyway you could make the browser load faster? I don't mean load websites faster, but the actual app. I have compared it with Netscape 4.51 and it actually takes longer to start up than Netscrape does! I was hoping it would only be a couple of seconds max load time, but it takes at least 10....

This should be easily done as separating Gecko from the main K-Meleon app. Like making one app/service that will contain just the Gecko object and remain resident and making K-Meleon just create object from that other app. Will be mostly like IE is now and should give good memory footprints ...

It only takes a few seconds to load on my machine, and is quite acceptable. Much faster than Netscape, and especially faster than Mozilla. Since I have IE set to load in a new process, I believe the time it takes to load is about the same as k-melon.
