Mac IE5.5 Interface

I was in the Mac lab between classes today (because the PC lab was full), and had the chance to use IE5.5 for the MacOS. It was pretty much identical to the PC version as far as interface was concerned, save for the light-green color scheme and one really cool feature... There was a tiny left-arrow button which when clicked would compress the button bar and Links bar to the left-hand side of the screen so that the webpage was rendered the full height of the window and the interface was squeezed into one small column. It was a really cool feature and I wondered why no PC browsers offered the same function. The obvious difference is the menu bar, which in MacOS is not within the window itself, but this could be stowed in a button along the side of the screen too, and pop out in cascading-menu form when the button was clicked. Just a thought. I like a browser where the rendered page takes up the most possible space and the interface is as small as possible.

Anyone else like this idea?
