IEs skin is unusable for me and if anything keeps me from using Kmeleon its the horrible interface.

While i admit it loads faster like this, it could also load fast using another interface with more functionality if there were proper coding.

An ability also to save or import my bookmarks would help.

And lastly, The ability too use realtime javascripts on websites,

Quoted from the front page at kmeleon.org:

"K-Meleon interface tries to mimic the IE MFC interface as much as possible. For convenience, it also uses the IE bookmarking system."

The similarity to IE in the UI seems to be one of the main principles behind the development of this browser.

the UI was originally a ie clone. but now it's completely customizable. granted you can't just edit some xml files like mozilla, but you can rearrange the menu items, change the background, change the toolbar icons, etc...

Whatever UI you want, just don't go stupid and make it skinable, that could ruing the whole thing.

there's a difference between "skinable" and "customizable" I don't know what the difference is, but it's there smiling smiley

the kmeleon ui is very customizable, but not really skinnable.

Browsers should not be sexy technology. they should not be skinable. They should dissapear into the background letting users focus on the website, not the browser.

If you want skins, use WindowsXP
