I had an idea - base k-meleon on the winembed version of mozilla.

With a gui change, the browser will have many little bugs of his own, and it will always be up to date with the mozilla build.

I'm using it now. It's kinda stable and fast too..

I've also noticed that mozilla renders the pages ALOT quicker than ie does.
Way to go mozilla...

actually, kmeleon is based on mfcembed.

on the same instructions, or on the same code..??

same codebase. we've obviously made *HUGE* changes, but kmeleon 0.3 was started by downloading the mfcembed code (kmeleon 0.2 and lower used winembed). everytime they change mfcembed, we incorporate those changes into kmeleon. if you look at the kmeleon source code, the main file is still called mfcembed.cpp (because we're too lazy to change it).
