love the work so far,
how about a simple e-mail client to compete with NS and the MOZ?

There's a whole lot of simple email clients out there. Try Popcorn (at http://www.ultrafunk.com ) or Pimmy (at http://www.geminisoft.com ) for example. But I'd like a way of using them without first setting them as the default in IE.

Alternatively, it would be an idea to have the system default emailer OR another.....

you can use popcorn from kmeleon without making it your default mail handler by making an exec() macro.

ok... after checking the popcorn site, it looks like there isn't a command line argument for opening it directly to the 'compose' window... so, if you want to be able to do that with popcorn without it being the default mail client, you should request that functionality from them... most other mail programs can do it.

alternately, the k-meleon developers could add some configurability to how k-meleon handles 'mailto' links, etc...
