You can use a pacfile in Netscape and (with a little tweaking) in IE. Could we have a facility to use one in K-Meleon?

Graham,

Are you talking about a Proxy Configuration file?

No, not the same. Here is a quote from the SpyBlocker help page:

SPYBLOCKER PACFILE HELP
What is a PacFile?

A PacFile is an external script for your browser that enables you to
block anything your heart desires.
Blocking PAC Files work with Netscape and Internet Explorer.

PacFiles can enable you to customize your surfing in many different
ways, for our purposes we will only discuss one type of PacFile. This
is a powerful redirecting PacFile, it does not block anything but
rather redirects requests to SB for filtering/logging etc.

You can use your PacFile to 'block' or 'filter' unwanted content such
as frames content, graphics, urls, IP Addresses, Flash and so much
more. We'll discuss some examples later in this help file.

NOTE: Normally Internet Explorer requires a Pacfile to be loaded from
a Web Server but while using SpyBlocker that is no longer a requirement.
SpyBlocker 4.7+ can serve the Pacfile directly to IE!
