Good job so far!

First missing feature that I'd like to see:

Have a prefernce for following the Windoze system settings for the default background color (and text color) of browser windows.

Mozilla calls this "Use system colors".

Example: The Yahoo home page does not set a background color, and since my Win98 background is not set to white, that page appears in other browsers with the same background as other windows.

add this one to your prefs.js file:

user_pref("browser.display.use_system_colors", true);

that SHOULD work; try it from within preferences>configs>prefs first, and if it doesn't save properly, add it to the file in notepad after you EXIT k-meleon completely.
