People keep saying the only way we're going to get tabs into K-M is a plugin.
Please, someone make this. If not a third party, then the K-M developers themselves shoud release something like this. As I understand it, they refuse to do so because it would slow things down. Well, it would be preferable if they could at least provide an option via PLUGIN to do so.
Just my comments because I suck and cant program plugins.

Also, Not necesarily an MDI interface. The browsing window could simply be swapped instead of literally having the windows MDI child/parent thing. This could prove to be easier or harder to code, but i would think easier.
i think the issue isn't simply that tabs would slow things down, but that the current developers barely have time enough for more critical things, so they aren't going to expend effort on something they don't personally care about. fortunately, more people seem to be taking an interest in contributing lately, so i suppose anything could happen. maybe somebody will make a tabbed version and name it after a marsupial or something...
