JRE location

It would be nice to be able to configure where k-m searches for the JRE...
I have mine installed to a "non-standard" location..well, really an outdated location.
It irks me when I need a separate JRE for programs that can't be configured.

I have installed Sun JRE 1.3.1 in another and separate directory then the standard.
KM has automatically located the directory and is using the plugin correctly.

I did this as this java is used also in Mozilla.

Did you install JRE by means of it's windows install program in order for it to be registered correctly in the windows registry?
Isn't there any entry when you type about:plugins in the url box?

Michael,

K-Meleon scans your machine for JRE so it should be able to find it. What version are you using? That might be more of an issue as we only can "guarantee" it will work with 1.3.1 (although it works with 1.3.0 too).

I have the JRE installed as part of the JDK.
It installs to C:\jdk1.3\jre
Maybe there's something else inhibiting km from finding this, but I would suspect it just isn't looking in that folder.
