select stylesheet / user stylesheet?

Partly on the same subject as "font size" thread -
is there currently a way to select stylesheet if document provides several? Only browser I know can do this is Mozilla. Those who do not know the feature or don't have Mozilla, look here:
<a href="http://muchbox.uninet.ee/img.misc/select_style.png">http://muchbox.uninet.ee/img.misc/select_style.png</a>;

If several stylesheets are declared in document, user can freely switch between them and choose most suitable. Mozilla doesn't carry the choice over to next pages but I hope this gets fixed eventually.

And, related to this - is there a way to force user stylesheet in K-M? It'd be nice.

Hi,

Other browsers (including K-Meleon) can use alternate stylesheets via Javascript/Cookies. This site (hmm....look fimiliar winking smiley show you how to do it

There is a drawback though; web author have to code this into their site in-oder for it to work. But it a look great when done right. Here is a nice demonstration (be sure to have Javascript and cookie enabled):

Use the "presentation" menu to change stylesheet/theme. You can even select your own FONT SIZE under "Advanced setup" smiling smiley

Cookies are not even needed, simple Javascript will do for just switching if no remembering is required. I know how to do this smiling smiley

However, I still think that browser implementation would be more reliable and better solution for both users and developers. For example - when you want to accomplish this wiht Javascript you have to provide switching buttons/links in every page. But that gives developer one more element to host on his pages, element, that is not content-related. Thats not nice. Browser should be taking care of stylesheet switching. After all - there is perfectly standard way to add alternate stylesheets and this has been possible for long time now. Just makes me wonder why CSS-compatible browsers havent implemented it yet.
